Did you know that if your child qualifies for free school meals, you can get help with other areas of school life too? e.g. Children on free school meals may be eligible for additional support with breakfast club, uniform, activities and visits. You may also find that you can get additional help during holiday periods with food and with activities. Because of this, it is worth applying for free school meals, even if your child already has a Universal free meal because they are in Reception or Key Stage 1 (Years 1 and 2).
